PLOT OUTLINE (spoilers):
HARLEY QUINN receives a message from POISON IVY that someone has placed a hit on the JOKER. Ivy warns Harley that she is in danger by association and should distance herself from the Joker. Joker boasts that he and Harley can take on any and all challengers together. Throughout the night, Harley and Joker are attacked by various Arkham Asylum escapees, thus solidifying that the threat is very serious. During these attacks Joker is wounded severely but with a slight assist from CATWOMAN, Harley gets him to a safe house to tend to his injuries. Harley vows to find the source of the bounty on her own and suits up on a solo mission across Gotham City to get answers. This leads her to the Iceberg Lounge to question the infamous mobster PENGUIN. After a vicious battle at the Lounge, Harley receives more questions than answers. Her resilient, fight-filled, blood-spilled nights end with the most unexpected of results. Whether or not she’ll survive her mission will rely on Harley’s quick thinking, agile fighting skills, and adorably mischievous charm. Harley Quinn’s limits are put to the ultimate test as she faces the question: HOW HARD WOULD YOU FIGHT TO KEEP YOUR MADNESS ALIVE? |
THE CHARACTERS of "Harley Quinn vs Arkham"!
HARLEY QUINN
Before her descent into madness, Dr. Harleen Quinzel was a promising psychiatrist assigned to Arkham Asylum, Gotham's home for the criminally insane. But after meeting the Joker, the young doctor became obsessed with the crazed criminal's warped mind. Athletic, agile and dangerously unpredictable in a fight, Harley Quinn is a formidable opponent in her own right. She is willing to do anything in order to further the Clown Prince of Crime's goals—no matter the cost to anyone else or even herself. |

BLACK MASK
An extremely skilled marksman, the crime boss Black Mask's primary, signature weapons are two automatic pistols. He is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, able to hold his own against accomplished martial artists. A calm and scheming criminal mastermind, Black Mask is a brilliant strategist, planning for long periods of time before striking his opponents viciously. However, Black Mask's most important weapons are fear and intimidation. He is known for his brutal and sadistic torture techniques, especially on the face. |
CATWOMAN
Selina Kyle is Catwoman, a costumed adventurer who's been both a super-hero and super-villain. Catwoman's status as hero or villain is ambiguous; she has her own moral code. Representing a gray area where the line between good and evil blurs, she is a creature that prowls the night. |
PENGUIN
Oswald Cobblepot is Penguin, a mobster and thief who uses specialized, high-tech umbrellas as weapons. He fancies himself as being a "gentleman of crime". Penguin runs a nightclub called Iceberg Lounge, which provides a cover for criminal activity. |
LIVEWIRE
Former controversial radio shock jock Leslie Willis is Livewire, a being of pure electricity, able to absorb vast quantities of electricity from external sources and transform her entire body into living electricity. She can manipulate electricity and generate lightning blasts of various intensities and also transform her body into an electric arc in order to travel through anything that will conduct an electric current, possess/control electronic devices such as computers and telecommunications networks, and even control the entire electrical grid. |
TWO-FACE
Former Gotham City district attorney, Harvey Dent was driven insane after mob boss Sal Maroni threw acidic chemicals at him during a trial, hideously scarring the left side of his face. He subsequently adopted the "Two-Face" persona, and became a criminal obsessed with duality. As the result of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and dissociative identity disorder he obsessively makes all important decisions by flipping a two-headed coin which is damaged on one side. |
THE VENTRILOQUIST (Riley)
The second Ventriloquist, Peyton Riley, called "Sugar" by Scarface is a more compatible partner than Wesker, since Scarface no longer substitutes "b" with "g", and she is far more willing to commit violent crime. Unlike Wesker, who is horrified at any damage to Scarface, Sugar rigs her dummies to explode, using this to cover her escapes. She has numerous identical dummies at her hideout, one of which then becomes the "real" Scarface. |
THE RIDDLER
The Riddler is a smooth-talking character with a high IQ, but this is tempered by his intense narcissism, histrionic behavior, underlying egomania, and his obsessive-compulsive need to devise and disseminate his riddles and puzzles. With this self-conscious use of a gimmick, Riddler's crimes are flamboyant and ostentatious. |
KABUKI TWINS
The Kabuki Twins are two female bodyguards employed by the Penguin. They are both highly skilled martial arts combatants, who employ extended steel razor blades at the tips of their fingers. Very little is known about the Kabuki Twins other than that they came into the Penguin's employ during a sojourn in the Orient. Whether the bodyguards are actual twins or not has never been clearly established. |
KILLER CROC
Depicted as having a rare genetic condition that gives him a crocodile appearance, sideshow wrestler Waylon Jones develops into a dangerous and animalistic criminal. The extent of his resemblance to a crocodile varies between merely a large man with hardened skin, and essentially an anthropomorphic crocodile. The character is often portrayed as having cannibalistic tendencies. |
