1.) Question: At what age did you first think of shooting videos and why?
Answer: Well I got my first personal video camera right out of High School. My friends and I were recording music from our small apartment. I wanted to shoot a video for us as a form of marketing. Ever since I saw Diane Martel’s music video for the Grammy winning “I‘ll Be There for You..” (Method Man ft. Mary J Blige) I really fell in love with the music video art form. The ability to visually bring to life the music that I love while introducing new emotions to the viewers was very seductive to my interest. Years after experiencing other forms of art, that today allow me to appreciate the numerous factors of creating videos (Cartoon Art, Modeling, Acting, recording and performing music, fashion art/airbrushing, etc.), I find myself doing what I love. Music and Video... Such a beautiful blend.

2.) Q: Out of all of your videos you've shot, which one is your favorite? A: So far, that’d have to be S-Class’s “Baby Slow Down”. My brother and sister were there working with me that day. There’s hardly a better feeling than not only doing what you love, but along side the support of your family too. Those were like the best two long, early to rise days ever! |

3.) Q: Are there any local underground Artists that you would like to shoot a video for?
A: As far as underground Hip-Hop goes I would love to shoot a Black Caucus music video next. And I because have family members that are music driven doing projects with them is a priority. There’s also an artist, Cymarshall Law who’s music is definitely my flavor, who I would love to work on a project with. After meeting Delaware artists 49ers, Phil Nash, Crazy 88s, I’m looking forward to doing projects with them also. The projects I have slated for this Summer are a Rock video and a Soul video with two local artists. I am not captive to any one genre. I love music in all it’s beautiful various forms, and welcome the opportunity to work on every single one. Ooh, the dream project would be to work with the band, Tegan and Sara ! |

4.) Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: I haven’t really been planning that far ahead. I always hope and try to make tomorrow better than today. So, ten years from now I should simply be better than I am today. If that means a production company so be it. But I’ll always be moving toward entrepreneurial victory, so, definitely making a living doing what I love. |
